Today, we second our praiseworthy athletes to the Paris Paralympic Games. We appraise the diligence, determination and persistence that they have demonstrated, said the Speaker of the Parliament in his address at the swear-in ceremony of the Georgian athletes for the set-off for the Paralympic Games.
He extended his best wishes for the victory of the athletes, noting that the Paralympic athletes overcome the barriers, break stereotypes and, manifesting their aspirations and diligence, prove that nothing is impossible.

Your stories reveal the true value of the sporting spirit and indefeasible willpower. Always remember that you are the ambassadors of inclusiveness and resilience and the fables of your achievements will fly far beyond the competition areas. Never forget that each of your success moments is the confirmation of the support of your families, coaches and society. We express our gratitude for your sporting persistence and model efficiency and combativeness. Leave for Paris with pride and confidence. You are backed and supported by a whole country.
