Georgian judoka, 3-time world champion Tato Grigalashvili won a silver medal at the Paris Olympics. In the final of the Olympics, he lost to the Olympic champion, Japanese Takanori Nagase.
Grigalashvili’s silver is the 1st medal for the Georgian national team at the Olympic Games in Paris.
Grigalashvili defeated Mikhail Latishev [Moldova], Vakhid Borchashvili [Austria], Somon Makhmadbekov [Tajikistan], Jeongwan Lee [South Korea].
