Within the framework of the Washington Summit of NATO, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, met with the US Under Secretary for Political Affairs, John Bass.

“Had a very interesting exchange of views with John Bass, Under Secretary of State. As our countries share the same values and principles, I emphasized the importance of Georgia – United States strategic partnership.

I reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to the EU and Euro-Atlantic future and expressed readiness to further strengthen ties between our countries”, - writes Ilia Darchiashvili.
