The occupiers have already stolen half a million of grain in Ukraine and are looking for a way to sell it. Such a statement made the President of Ukraine.
“In our occupied territory, the Russian occupiers have already stolen at least half a million tons of grain and are now looking for ways to sell them somewhere illegally. Sell to make money on stolen, and keep the deficit in the legal market”, - said Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, due to Russia’s blockade of Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea and the seizing of the Ukrainian part of the Sea of Azov, Ukraine cannot export 22 million tons of grain that are already in storage.
“This is the amount that was going to enter the foreign market. And Russia’s blockade of our exports is really destabilising the situation on a global scale. As a result, food is becoming more expensive in different countries. Consequently, there is a threat of famine. In Africa, in Asia, in some European countries”, - the President said.
According to him, this threat may turn into a new migration crisis, and Russia wants to.
