Prime Minister of Georgia joined celebrations of Georgian Orthodox Church followers of the Day of Apostle Andrew by stating the “values of the gospel have defined our identity, history, culture, statehood, and way of life”.

“The values had shaped the political ideals of democracy, human freedom, peace, and prosperity and formed the basis of modern Western civilisation.

Today, when Georgia in its history is so close to the goal of the civilisational choice of returning to the family of free nations of Europe, the spiritual and national values formed over the centuries strengthen our backs and I believe that it will play an essential role in the progress and development of our country”, - says Irakli Garibashvili.
