Russian occupiers failed to ensure a proper ceasefire regime - Iryna Vereshchuk

Ukraine says its evacuation efforts to bring some civilians out of the war-torn port city of Mariupol will resume Thursday. The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Temporary Occupied Territories Reintegration Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

“Due to the lack of control over their own military at the local level, Russian occupiers failed to ensure a proper ceasefire regime. Also, due to their inherent disorganization and negligence, the occupiers failed to ensure the timely transportation of people to the point, where dozens of our buses and ambulance cars were waiting.

I am addressing our people in Mariupol: we will fight for each of you”, - she added.
