Attack on a state political official - State Security Service has launched an investigation

The State Security Service of Georgia has launched an investigation into possible provocations by the United National Movement in Ukraine.

The investigation into the allegations made by Vice Speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski, that the UNM is planning to organize certain provocations in Ukraine, was launched under Article 325, Part 1 [an attack on a state political official].

According to the agency, they “immediately provided the information to the Ukrainian counterparts”.

Gia Volski said today that the UNM is planning a provocation during the visit to Ukraine and that is why it is not taking part in the delegation.
