I introduced to the Prime Minister of Poland the active political and humanitarian assistance that Georgia provides to Ukraine - Irakli Garibashvili

I introduced to the Prime Minister of Poland the active political and humanitarian assistance that Georgia provides to Ukraine at all international, political levels. Such a statement made today Prime Minister of Georgia at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki.

“We everywhere supported or co-sponsored or co-organized these resolutions - would it be a UN resolution, in the OSCE format, in the EU format, or in the Council of Europe format. We, of course, supported the launching of an investigation that should investigate war crimes in Ukraine. Therefore, our position is absolutely clear and understandable. Of course, we are in solidarity.

I want to reiterate our strong support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. Like Poland, Georgia has a long history of state and people-to-people friendship with Ukraine. Clearly, we will continue to stand in solidarity with Ukraine and will continue to firmly support it. Our common desire is for this war to end and for peace to be established in Ukraine.

Of course, I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Poland and its Prime Minister for the support that Poland has shown in the evacuation of Georgian citizens and the transportation of our humanitarian aid to Ukraine”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
