Only after direct talks between the two presidents can we end this war. Such a statement made the President of Ukraine.

“In any negotiations, my goal is to end the war with Russia. And I am ready for certain steps”, - Volodymyr Zelensky told the Bild when asked what concessions he is ready to make.

According to the President, compromises can be made but they must not be a betrayal of the country. At the same time, the other side must also be ready to compromise because this is the only way to get out of this situation, the Head of State stressed. He noted that he couldn’t talk about the details yet.

At the same time, Zelensky believes that it will be possible to end this war only after direct talks between the two presidents. The president said what was happening now was “real terror”.

“But we believe in the future. We will not give up, we will not sell our land”, - the Ukrainian leader stressed.
