U.S. plans to send Ukraine nearly USD 54 million in humanitarian aid

The State Department said that the U.S. will provide nearly USD 54 million in humanitarian assistance to those affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

That includes nearly USD 26 million from the State Department and USD 28 million from the U.S. Agency for International Development, the State Department said in a statement Sunday.

“The U.S. is providing nearly USD 54 million in additional humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine. This assistance enables humanitarian organizations to support citizens of Ukraine already in need and those newly affected by Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified attack”, - tweeted Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
