A mutant goat with one large eye in the middle of its head has been born in Turkey, with scientists saying the strange cyclops eye is an anomaly of medicine and rarely found in either humans and animals, writes Daily star.
Ahmet Kartal, 40, said he had been raising animals for 25 years in the village of Gokmusa, in the province of Kilis, and had never seen anything like the one-eyed goat.
Kartal, a livestock farmer, explained that he went to check on his animals and noticed that a baby goat had been born.
Inspecting the newly-born animal closer, the livestock farmer saw that the eyes of the livestock were firmly planted right in the centre of its forehead, like a cyclops, the fearsome beast from Greek mythology.
