“According to the total statistics of the National Center for Disease Control, the infection rate of children is 15%. 15 out of every 100 infected are children. It is quite possible that this figure will increase even more.

10 000 infected people means that 1 500 kids in Georgia are infected with the coronavirus every day. When we have 2 and 3 times higher rates than this, it means that every day 3 - 4 thousand children are infected in Georgia”, - said Ivane Chkhaidze.
