European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that large-scale sanctions against the Russian Federation in case of its invasion of Ukraine are already ready. She said this in an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche.

“Any further aggression against Ukraine will be subject to sanctions with enormous consequences. They are already ready. European countries are united and act in concert with the US and NATO. We want good relations with Russia, but this depends on its actions. It must stop its provocations”, - said von der Leyen.
