The uncle of Mikheil Saakashvili, has been summoned for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation into the violation of private communication secrecy, says the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Temur Alasania refused to appear before the investigating agency, hence he will be questioned in court before a magistrate judge.

An investigation into the violation of private communication secrecy was launched in 2018 by the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA. The investigation is underway under Article 158, Part 3, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia”, - reads the statement of the agency.
