Tbilisi City Hall tightens response to cases of municipal land seizures and illegal constructions. Such a statement made today the Mayor of the capital.

“Certain problems in the capital are the facts of seizure of municipal lands and illegal constructions. I would like to instruct the Head of the Municipal Inspection, Kakha Guledani, to react immediately to such facts. Give these people the opportunity to carry out dismantle works by themselves, otherwise dismantle the buildings under construction by yourself.

We will be very principled against such lawlessness. We have also seen who is behind such criminal activities - specific people who have two or three dwellings and hectares of land in the regions. Thus, I call on the relevant services to act! If necessary, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is always ready for rendering support and assistance as well”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
