Opposition to hold rally at 19:00 on Rustaveli Avenue. The Chairman of the opposition United National Movement called on people to join the protest in front of the Parliament.

Nika Melia praised supporters and citizens rallying at Justice Ministry amid police presence, saying the demonstrations would expand to several locations.

Khatia Dekanoidze, one of the leaders of the UNM, also addressed the public.

“The main thing now is for everyone to come out and defeat this regime with their own hands. I understand that you are very tired, we are on our feet for more than 24 hours. At 7 o’clock on Rustaveli! Also, the door to our office is open. We will coordinate with the headquarters”, - said Khatia Dekanoidze.
