Coronavirus was confirmed to 8 convicts of N14 (Geguti) penitentiary institution.

“At this stage, the condition of all of them is stable, but for further observation, they are placed in a civil sector clinic. As for the other convicts in the institution, they have been transferred to the quarantine regime, and all of them will be provided with appropriate assistance.

It should be noted that 50% of the convicts have been vaccinated in N14 facility and the process is still active. The immunization process began on 18 May”, - reads the statement of the Penitentiary Service.
