The officers of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained D.J. (DoB1997), as a result of operative-investigative activities for premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person fatally injured his neighbor, A.P. (DoB1942) in the head area with a blunt object in his own apartment, after a domestic dispute which took place in the city of Rustavi. Due to the received injuries, A.P. died at the crime scene.

The law enforcers detained D.J. in Rustavi shortly after the crime.

The fact of premeditated murder is being investigated under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
