In the fight against coronavirus, Georgia’s Defense Forces will engage in ensuring the effective implementation of vaccination, with the relevant decree recently issued by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

“Pursuant to paragraph 2, article 72 of the Constitution of Georgia, and paragraph 2, article 2 of the Law of Georgia on the State of Emergency, to fight against novel coronavirus, the Defense Forces of Georgia shall be used to ensure the effective implementation of vaccination”, - reads the Prime Minister’s decree.
