The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of operative-search and investigative actions, on the fact of attempted premeditated murder detained previously convicted D.D. (DoB: 1985).

The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused in the temporary apartment of his acquaintance in Tbilisi on the grounds of conflict inflicted multiple wounds with a cold steel to M.M. (DoB: 1983) and fled from the scene. The wounded woman was taken to a hospital and underwent relevant medical treatment.

Law enforcers detained the accused in a few hours after the incident.

The fact of attempted premeditated murder is being investigated under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
