A member of the United National Movement, Nona Mamulashvili, played the Soviet anthem during the plenary session of the Parliament.

She played the anthem when Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration, was addressing MPs.

“Bravo! The place where the Act of Independence of Georgia was signed, you play the anthem of Russia! A brilliant example. Shame on you, Ms. Nona. It shows everything well”, - said the Chairman of the Parliament, Kakha Kuchava, while commenting the incident.
