The officers of the Detectives Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained M.A. (DoB 1998) as a result of immediate operative and investigative activities for the premeditated murder of a family member committed under aggravating circumstances.

The committed crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person inflicted injury in the head area with a blunt object to his grandmother - N.J. (DoB 1953), in the house located in Poti, as a result of which the victim died.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of the premeditated murder of a family member committed under aggravating circumstances, article 119, Part II, Subparagraph “F” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
