Police are mobilized in Gumati village. Law enforcers have erected an iron wall in the Rioni River Gorge, following the anti-Namakhvani HPP protesters’ decision to relocate back to the village.

As Varlam Goletiani, the organizer of anti-Namakhvani HPP protests said today, they are returning to the Rioni Gorge but this did not mean that the struggle would stop.

“The protest in Tbilisi aimed to reach the protesters’ voice to everyone. All picketing and blocking of roads were symbolic that aimed to make people think about the issue and realize how important the struggle is”, - added Goletiani.
