Another physical confrontation has recently taken place in Dmanisi. A group of people were trying to enter the city center from one of the entrances, which was not allowed by the police.

According to the existing information, several people were injured, including media representatives.

The situation became tense on Sunday, May 16, following the physical violence at a local shop.

Ministry of Internal Affairs says law enforcers are mobilized to maintain public order. The agency calls on confronting parties to remain calm.
