Nika Melia refused to test for the coronavirus

Nika Melia who has come in contact with a lawyer with COVID-19 has refused to test for the coronavirus. Such a statement released the Special Penitentiary Service.

According to the penitentiary service, the defendant shows no symptoms.

“"The defendant and the lawyer were separated by a glass barrier, with all coronavirus rules strictly observed when they talked. Accordingly, chances are low that he contracted the virus. However, the defendant was offered a rapid antigen test, but he refused. The corresponding report was later drawn up. Nika Melia shows no symptoms”, - reads the statement.

The agency added, information that the defendant has a temperature is false.
