Ekaterine Tikaradze, the Minister of Health, attended the COVID-19 testing process of locals at the so-called checkpoint at the Enguri Bridge.

A special waiting room and 4 tents are set up at the bridge for testing purpose. About 1 200 people arrived from the occupied territory to undergo testing. They will also be able to book coronavirus jabs.

The Government abolished a 5-day compulsory quarantine for locals from the occupied territory on April 19.
