The President of Georgia held a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary-General.

Jens Stoltenberg congratulated Salome Zourabicvili on reaching an EU-backed compromise agreement. They also reviewed the importance of reforms necessary for Georgia to move forward on its Euro-Atlantic path.

“Good call with President Salome Zourabichvili. I welcomed the agreement between political forces in Georgia. We discussed security in the Black Sea region and our shared concerns about Russia’s military build-up. I thanked her for Georgia’s commitment to our mission in Afghanistan”, - twitted Jens Stoltenberg.
