The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities solved the case of premeditated murder in Tskneti. Law enforcers detained D.P. (DoB 1989) for committing premeditated murder of a family member under aggravating circumstances.

The committed crime envisages from 13 to 17 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person inflicted life-threatening injuries to his father- G.F. (DoB1961) during a family conflict in Tskneti on April 6 of the current year, after which he cleaned the blood and transferred the blood-stained household items to cover up the crime. As a result of the injuries, the victim died at his home where the crime was committed.

The law enforcers, as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities, arrested D.F. in Tskhneti, few hours after the crime was committed.

Investigation on the fact of premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances against a family member is in progress under Article 109-11, Part II, Subparagraph "F" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
