The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained A.M., (DoB1992) in Kvareli on charges of causing severe health damage on purpose as a result of operative and investigative activities.

The committed crime envisages from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that A.M. inflicted body injuries with a cold steel to E.I. (DoB 1986) on the basis of conflict in one of the cafes in the village of Kabali, Lagodekhi municipality.

Law enforcers arrested the accused person within hours after the incident as a result of immediate police activities.

Weapaon of crime - the knife has been seized by police as evidence.

The detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of causing severe health damage on purpose, crime envisaged under the article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
