As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, representatives of Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, exposed the employee of the primary technical inspection center of vehicles on the fact of commercial bribery.

Investigation determined that accused person, in order to receive personal gain, in one of the technical inspection centers located in Imereti region, while inspecting a privately owned vehicle, despite its visual and technical damage, issued a report on the positive passing of the technical inspection, violating the requirements of the technical regulations approved by the Resolution of the Government of Georgia.

Investigation is underway under the third part of Article 221 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages imprisonment from 2 to 4 years.
