Otar Partskhaladze was acquitted in the case of beating Lasha Tordia

Tbilisi City Court has found former Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Otar Partskhaladze innocent in the case of the beating of former head of Georgia’s State Audit Office Lasha Tordia back in 2017.

According to the Tbilisi city court decision, Mikheil Chokheli, a former employee of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance, was found guilty in the case and fined GEL 5 000.

The state prosecution will appeal the decision in the Court of Appeals.
