Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova apply to EU High representative, EU Commissioner

Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova applied to Joseph Borell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Olivér Várhelyi, EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Commissioner with a joint letter on intensified cooperation with the associated partners within the framework of Eastern Partnership.


Three countries seek a stronger political dialog, new opportunities of economic cooperation and gradual and full integration with the EU.


According to the letter, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova took the commitment to contribute to the political association and economic integration process with the European Union through association agreements.


Foreign Ministers also underline that the joint letter aims at strengthening Eastern Partnership and the EU’s transformation role in the region.
