The youngest, a 50-day-old baby, recovered from the coronavirus at the Pediatric Department of the Clinic Beaumonde. He was treated and monitored for ten days.

According to Edisher Asatiani, Head of Clinic Beaumonde Pediatric Service, the infant was placed to the Interventional Medicine Center with respiratory complaints.

At the moment, 13 children are undergoing treatment in the pediatric department. Since September 13, the department has served 129 children throughout western Georgia. As for general statistics, there are currently 125 COVID-infected patients in the clinic.
