Patrol Police conducts intensive monitoring activities near to subway stations

Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in accordance with the decision of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Georgian government, conducts intensive monitoring activities near to subway stations in order to enforce rules and recommendations imposed against the spread of Covid-19.

Patrol- inspectors are mobilized near to all subway stations of Tbilisi, to ensure the observance of rules imposed for the safety of citizens, for the prevention of the spread of coronavirus as well as to monitor wearing of surgical masks by people entering and leaving subway stations.

Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to wear masks, keep social distance as much as possible and follow instructions of the Patrol Police officers.

Patrol-Inspectors started intensive monitoring activities yesterday, on October 15 in accordance with Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Georgian Government.

Passenger control is also carried out in municipal buses. Tbilisi City Hall calls on citizens to use public transport only in case of urgent necessary with the observance of all safety rules.

Tbilisi City Hall expresses gratitude to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for carrying out patrolling activities near to subway stations.
