Georgia will most likely receive promising antiviral medication Remdesivir in 2-3 weeks - Tengiz Tsertsvadze

In 2-3 weeks, Georgia will most likely receive the medication Remdesivir. Such a statement made the director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.

“The country’s government is negotiating very intensively and soon, in 2-3 weeks, Georgia will be probably the first country in Eastern Europe to receive the most promising and in-demand antiviral medication Remdesivir.

It has not been proven that it can really cure coronavirus, but it is the most promising among other medicines. In 2-3 weeks, this medicine will most likely enter Georgia, which will further reduce the number of deaths”, - said Tengiz Tsertsvadze.
