Information that Georgia is obstructing the delivery of fuel and humanitarian aid to Armenia is not true - Embassy of Armenia

The Embassy of Armenia to Georgia denied social media allegations of Georgia blocking fuel and humanitarian aid to Armenia, calling it a “misinformation”.

“Information circulated on the Internet that Georgia hinders RA fuel import and refuses to release humanitarian aid to Armenia do not correspond to reality. There is no problem with both fuel and humanitarian aid transfer!

The Embassy of Armenia in Georgia maintains permanent relations with the relevant structures of Georgia. However, in case of any problem with transit through Georgia, please contact the Embassy to quickly solve the issue.

At the same time we encourage not to spread misinformation as it directly hits the state interests of the Republic of Armenia”, - reads the statement.
