The Georgian national women’s team will enter the qualifying playoffs of the UEFA Women’s European Football Championship for the 1st time after they defeated Lithuania in the final match of the group stage.

They defeated the opponents 1-0 through an 88th minute penalty by midfielder Maiko Bebia. The result placed them 2nd with 10 points and among the 3 best runners-up in the C League.

The Championship will be played between July 2-27, 2025 in Switzerland.
