Georgia’s nominal gross national income at purchasing power parity in 2023 increased by 11.75% - World Bank

The World Bank published updated global data on the gross national income. According to the report, Georgia’s nominal gross national income at purchasing power parity in 2023 increased by 11.75%, amounting to 86.6 billion international dollars, and was among 30 countries that managed to increase their gross national income at double-digit rates in 2023.

In terms of the purchasing power of national income in 2023, Georgia significantly overtook Latvia, whose figure in 2022 was 77 billion international dollars, the same as Georgia, and in 2023 it increased to only 78 billion, which is 11% lower than Georgia’s figure in 2023.

In 2021, the gross national income of Latvia exceeded the level of Georgia by 2.4 billion international dollars, and in 2023 the total national income of Georgia exceeded the level of Latvia by 8 billion 700 million international dollars.

According to the nominal index of the gross national income with purchasing power, Georgia is already ahead of 6 EU member countries:

Luxembourg / Iceland / Malta / Cyprus / Latvia / Estonia
