Violeta Inasaridze, a physician of Akhaltsikhe Imedi Clinic, charged for the death of nurse Megi Bakradze was bailed out in the amount of GEL 4 000, Tbilisi City Court decided today, December 29.
On December 28, the Prosecutor’s Office charged the physician under the second part of Article 130 of the Georgian Criminal Code, [leaving a sick person in danger], which is punishable by imprisonment for three to five years.
27-year-old Megi Bakradze died in Akhaltsikhe clinic following an allergic reaction to the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in March, 2021.
