The trial regarding the postponement of the sentence or release from the sentence for Mikheil Saakashvili, will be held today. The sitting is scheduled for 11:00.

After the American psychiatrist Eric Goldsmith, the American toxicologist, David Smith, should be questioned at the trial.

According to the existing information, the former president will not attend the trial remotely.

As Judge Giorgi Arevadze stated at the previous trial, there is no time limit for considering the motion, therefore, it should not be expected that the decision will be made in 1 – 2 processes.

As it is known, a rally in support of Mikheil Saakashvili is planned in parallel with the trial.
