In connection with the postponement of the sentence for Mikheil Saakashvili, proceedings are underway in the Tbilisi City Court.

The former president participates in the session remotely from Vivamed clinic. His parents and supporters are present at the hearing.

As Saakashvili said, he wants to address citizens in Ukrainian from the courtroom. He started speaking in the Ukrainian language and after the judge called him to speak in Georgian, former president replied that he is a citizen of Ukraine.

His address is translated by an interpreter.
