About 20 drug dealers have been arrested as a result of the ongoing special operation across Georgia. Such a statement made today the Head of the Central Criminal Police Department.

“Since this morning, investigative activities have been underway in various cities throughout the country, including in Ponichala, Tbilisi. On the basis of the court’s ruling, about 20 drug dealers were arrested, who were engaged in the illegal purchase, storage and distribution of large and especially large narcotic drugs.

Both Georgian and foreign citizens are arrested. The police operation will continue during the day and the number of detainees will increase”, - added Teimuraz Kupatadze.
