Retreating from Kherson city, the Russian military left explosives even in children’s toys, writes Ukrinform.

Rostyslav Smirnov, adviser to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, stated this during a nationwide telethon on Ukrainian TV channels.

“Currently, the main focus is on demining. The scale of mining is extremely large there. I constantly receive photo reports (about discovered ammunition - ed.) in children"s toys, there was a mine between two soccer balls, etc.”, - he said.

Smirnov noted that in the liberated territories of Kherson region, rescuers have already disposed more than 5,000 explosive objects.
