As a result of the strong wind, several trees fell near the King Tamar Bridge, in the area of the right bank of the Mtkvari River, due to which traffic in the area is disrupted.

Representatives of the Tbilisi City Hall are on the spot, cleaning the area from the remains of fallen plants. As Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Irakli Bendeliani said, the road will be fully opened soon, after the area is cleared of fallen trees.

As he added, as a result of the strong wind, several more trees fell across the city, although the work on all the reported cases is ongoing intensively.
