Value of export increased by 34% in January-October - GeoStat

External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 15 226.6 million in January-October 2022, 33.5 percent higher year-on-year, reads the report of the GeoStat.

The value of export increased by 34.0 percent reaching USD 4 546.0 million, while the import increased by 33.2 percent and amounted to USD 10 680.6 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 6 134.6 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 40.3 percent.

Detailed data on external merchandise trade of Georgia will be published on 21 November, 2022.
