Mikheil Saakashvili’s trial has been postponed

The trial of a former president accused of illegally crossing the border in a city court has been postponed to November 2.

According to Mikheil Saakashvili’s lawyer, due to the health condition the third president can’t participate in the process at this stage. It should be mentioned that only Saakashvili’s questioning stage remains.

It is not known whether the Prosecutor’s Office will file a motion to hold a trial in “Vivamedi” clinic, the prosecution may request to continue the trial without Saakashvili.
