As a result of monitoring, the Municipal Inspection revealed 3 construction sites in Tbilisi, where safety rules were violated, and all 3 of them were fined GEL 30 000. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

“As a result of yesterday’s monitoring, we identified 3 objects where construction safety rules were violated. You know how much we care about the safety of people. This is very important, first of all, for people who work directly on construction sites.

First of all, they themselves should be motivated to be able to work in a safe environment in every way, and of course their supervisors should be so as well. Their employers have a direct obligation to ensure the safety of people working at the construction sites.

I want to appeal to the head of the Municipal Inspection as well as my deputy to pay maximum attention and, of course, to conduct daily monitoring, so that safety norms are strictly implemented at construction sites.

As for the construction sites themselves and their owners - specific responsible persons who are tasked with observing safety norms, I address them to approach construction processes more responsibly, because it concerns safety and human life and health. Therefore, it is very important to continue this monitoring and to respond accordingly to all the cases detected”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
