The 43rd World Para-Armwrestling Championship is taking place in Antalya. This year’s event is led by newly elected Vice President of the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF), Charles Osei Asibey.
The debut tournament turned out to be successful for the representative of Georgia - Irma Zveriashvili. The athlete who started active training about two months ago, was able to take the prize place - bronze medal.
Over 1,500 athletes and officials from about 50 countries including Georgia participate in the championship.
There would be competitions for age groups from Sub-Junior to Senior, Grand Masters as well as events in para-Armwrestling in both left and right arm battles.
