In connection with the tragedy that happened in the Vake Park yesterday, October 13, the questioning of the relevant persons is still ongoing in the Vake-Saburtalo police department.

The employees of “Greenservice +” are in the division, including its director - Lasha Furtsvanidze, and the Head of the Municipal Department of Environment Protection of the Tbilisi City Hall Giga Gigashvili. They came to the questioning yesterday and are still in the police division.

As it known, “Greenservice +” carried out the rehabilitation project in the Vake Park.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation under Article 240 prima of the Criminal Code, which refers to the violation of safety rules, which resulted in less serious or serious injury to health.

3 minors were electrocuted when they were trying to retrieve the ball that fell in the fountain in Vake ​​Park. The children were taken to the clinic by an ambulance. The condition of one of the kids, a 13-year-old girl, was serious and she died.

One child is in Iashvili clinic, another is placed in New Hospitals clinic.
