The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, together with the members of the Parliamentary Delegation, met with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Adama Bictogo.

Shalva Papuashvili expressed gratitude for Cote d’Ivoire’s support for the territorial integrity of Georgia and spoke about the grave situation in the occupied regions of Georgia.

The Speaker emphasized the transformation of Cote d’Ivoire in terms of democratic and economic development in recent years and wished the President of the National Assembly success in the implementation of further reforms.

The parties expanded on the strengthening of parliamentary ties and expressed their willingness to cooperate in this regard.

The meeting was held within the framework of the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
